Our Story
Non-denominational · HEXCO Registered · Established 1987 · Gweru, Zimbabwe
Our Institution
Africa for Christ Bible College (AfCBC) is an independent non-denominational Christian Education institution under the oversight of a Board of Trustees. The college is registered with the Ministry of Higher Education and offers programmes in Theological studies.
Established in 1987 in Zimbabwe by United Apostolic Faith Church (UAFC) with the intention of meeting the training needs of the church in Southern Africa, AfCBC officially transformed into non-denominationalism in 2016. Our programmes are designed to transform society through individuals who learn through a combination of block release and distance education.
In 2016 the vision to train the greater constituency of the body of Christ was born. The majority of leaders needing training in the 21st century cannot afford to go on campus for a long period at the expense of ministry or work. AfCBC was set up as an open training institution to allow Christians to get their training while doing the work of ministry at the same time.

Principal, Africa for Christ Bible College
"Our mandate is rooted in 2 Timothy 2:2 — to entrust the gospel to faithful people who will teach others. Every programme at AfCBC is designed with this vision in mind."
What Drives Us
To equip the body of Christ in Africa and beyond with the tools necessary to fulfil the Great Commission — making disciples of all nations.
To provide timely, affordable, and high-quality theological education through a combination of block release and distance learning — enabling Christians to grow academically while continuing in ministry.

Our Beliefs
Africa for Christ Bible College holds to the following foundational articles of faith.
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, one in essence.
We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ: born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died for our sins, rose bodily, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
We believe God created mankind in His image. Through the disobedience of Adam, sin and death entered the world, bringing all people under spiritual condemnation.
We believe that Jesus Christ, by shedding His blood on the cross, made the full atonement for all sin — providing the only basis for salvation for all who believe.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, His present ministry as High Priest, and His personal, bodily return to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in regeneration by the Holy Spirit for all who repent and believe in Christ, resulting in a new creation and eternal life.
We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, comprising all who believe. We affirm believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper as ordinances given to the Church.
